ROOF REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS
REVITALIZE YOUR HOME WITH A
NEW ROOF
After you’ve lived somewhere for a while, repairs are pretty standard. Depending on the circumstances and the type of roof you’ve got, you may have to replace some roofs more frequently than others. Whether you’ve had damage done or if your roof is starting to fall apart, or perhaps there’s a leak, trust Fortress Roofing and Construction LLC in Jacksonville, FL, to make everything right! We can guarantee high-quality results every single time, and you'll always be in good hands with us.
Breaking Down How Roof Repairs and Replacements Work
It all begins with an initial consultation. During the consultation, our team will ask to hear more about the project, as well as the type of roof you have. We offer repairs and replacements for flat roofs, metal roofs, tile roofs, and asphalt shingle roofs.
From there, someone from our team will travel out to your location to take a closer look at what we’ll be working with. Once we’ve assessed the roof and have determined what repairs we'll have to make, we will give you a free estimate and then get right to work.
FAQ's
Q: Do I have to pay my insurance deductible?
A: Yes, the deductible is the homeowner’s responsibility. When your insurance company sends you the Scope of Loss document, it includes a detailed breakdown of the claim. One of the line items will list the deductible amount, which is what you owe out of pocket. This is not paid to your insurance company—it's paid to the contractor (like us) as part of your total roof replacement cost. It’s required by law that homeowners pay their deductible.
Q: What happens if my claim is denied or not fully funded?
A: If your claim gets denied, or supplementing does not work, we work with a team of Public Adjusters who work on your behalf to help handle and overturn the decision of your claim by assessing the damage, reviewing your policy and communicating with your insurance company.
Q: What if I want to cancel?
A: If you choose to cancel for any reason after 14 days of signing the Agreement for Service Contract, a 20% cancellation fee will apply. This fee is based on the total cost of the roof replacement and covers the time, effort, and resources already invested in managing your claim.
Q: My insurance claim includes interior repairs—does Fortress handle that too?
A: Yes! If your Scope of Loss includes interior items (like ceiling stains, drywall, or paint), Fortress can coordinate and complete those repairs as well. Our goal is to make the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible for you!
